Marlow is a mischievous little being, of unknown origin, who by chance found refuge under the Marlow hatband, which Enigma wears. (hence his name) while trying to escape from a not entirely clear situation. He sees his mischievous nature realized by influencing the development of events faced by his bearer.

On the other hand, enigma is a good-natured, clueless, innocent, somewhat lived person who puts his little common sense before him. He is easily influenced by Marlow since he unconsciously finds in him everything extroverted that he can never be by himself.
